The June 1 priority deadline is fast approaching for submitting supplemental, required documents, which we sometimes request in considering students for gift aid. If we need these, you should have received an email from our office requesting them. Log in to Wolverine Access for a list of needed documents and submit them to our office by June 1. Don't delay!
In mid-May, the U.S. Department of Education's Federal Student Aid office will improve the FSA ID, the identifier used by students and parents to access federal financial aid information online, including the FAFSA and federal loan history and information.

The IRS has taken its Data Retrieval Tool offline, but the Department of Education assures families and students that the FAFSA application remains safe and available online. The U-M Office of Financial Aid recommends that students complete their 2017-18 FAFSAs without delay, manually entering tax return information so that we receive your information by April 30 to consider you for all aid.
