In order to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, students now need an Federal Student Aid ID, or FSA ID, made up of a username and password. Students and parents should create their own in order to electronically sign their FAFSAs and other federal financial aid documents.
Materials are now available for continuing students to apply for 2016 Spring/Summer financial aid at U-M. Priority filing deadline is March 25, 2016 for students to be considered for all Spring/Summer aid.
The U-M Office of Financial Aid has begun awarding financial aid to entering freshmen for 2016-17. Students with awards should receive an email advising them to check Wolverine Access to view, print or download their Award Notice. Notices are sent on a rolling basis as students complete their aid applications.
April 30, 2016 is the priority deadline to apply for 2016-17 financial aid at U-M. We must receive your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by this date to consider you for all financial aid programs. Entering students also complete the CSS Financial Aid PROFILE to be considered for grant aid.
