The U-M Office of Financial Aid has begun awarding financial aid to students for the 2018-19 academic year. Students with financial aid awards will receive an email advising them to check Wolverine Access to view, print or download their Award Notice.
Notification is sent to students who have completed their financial aid application documents for the coming year. For continuing students, that involves completing the annual Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and, for entering students, both the FAFSA and CSS Financial Aid PROFILE, as well as any other supplemental documents required by our office.
If you receive a notice that other, clarifying documents or forms are required, you must submit them so your aid eligibility can be determined. Check the financial aid section on Wolverine Access for other required documents. These are due in our office no later than June 1.

Students will be notified on a rolling basis as they complete and submit their financial aid application documents and staff reviews their files. Official Award Notices are sent after students complete their aid applications and submit all documents. All students will receive Revised Award Notices this summer after tuition rates are set in late June.
