U-M has begun awarding financial aid to selected entering freshmen for 2017-18. Students who have received estimated or official financial aid awards will receive an email advising them to check Wolverine Access to view, print or download their Award Notice. Read more about the process here.
The U-M Office of Financial Aid is surveying students on the Ann Arbor campus about costs for books, housing and personal expenses to help develop budgets used when awarding financial aid. If you wish, you may also enter for a chance at one of three $50 Amazon gift cards. The survey runs through Jan. 15, 2017.
The 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid is now available, and we encourage both prospective and continuing students to complete it and apply for federal financial aid as soon as possible. An executive action from President Obama makes the FAFSA available earlier for students applying for financial aid in Fall Term 2017. Students will also use information from 2015 tax returns.
