U-M offers a low-cost, comprehensive, voluntary health insurance plan for U-M students through Aetna Student Health. It is offered to protect students against financial hardship from unforeseen medical expenses not covered by the health service fee included with tuition. Deadline to purchase insurance for this academic year is Sept. 30, 2018.
The U-M Office of Financial Aid is surveying students on the Ann Arbor campus about costs for books, housing and personal expenses to help develop budgets used when awarding financial aid. If you wish, you may also enter for a chance at one of three $50 Amazon gift cards. The survey runs through Jan. 15, 2017.
