This newsletter edition kicks off the 2017-18 academic year, featuring information about when you will receive your aid, more about the university’s Go Blue Guarantee, working on campus, and other key items to help you navigate your financial aid.
The June 1 priority deadline is this week for submitting supplemental, required documents, which we sometimes request in considering students for gift aid. It may take up to 5 business days for your documents to be processed and to show in Wolverine Access, but those meeting the June 1 deadline will be considered on time for aid purposes.
Volumes in our office are high this time of the year, whether students are contacting us by email, phone, fax or in person. If you have submitted documents, it may take up to 5 business days for receipt of these documents to show up on Wolverine Access in the student’s secure portal. We appreciate your patience as we work to award aid for 2017-18 and for the 2017 Spring and Summer terms.
We sometimes request federal tax return transcripts or other documents from students and parents as we consider students for gift aid. You will receive an email from our office if we need these. Log in to Wolverine Access for a list of needed documents and submit them to our office by June 1.
