Managing Your Fall 2026 Aid

Set Up Direct Deposit
Set up Direct Deposit to access your financial aid as soon as it is available.
Satisfactory Academic Progress
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is important to maintain your financial aid eligibility. If you have been notified that you are not meeting SAP, the deadline to appeal for fall term aid is Sept. 1.
Appeals and Emergency Assistance
The U-M Office of Financial Aid (OFA) has options to assist you if unforeseen financial challenges impact your ability to pay for college. Students and families who may have experienced challenges of this nature are encouraged to reach out to the OFA for assistance.
