Service During the Holiday Season

The Office of Financial Aid, Student Financial Services, and the Registrar’s Office remain committed to serving you in convenient and efficient ways. Dec. 12, 2025, will be the last date students will receive funds during the fall term.

The Office of Financial Aid will be closed for business starting on Dec. 24 at 3 p.m. EST and will reopen on Jan. 2 at 8 a.m. EST. Note: Operations on Jan. 2 will be remote only. In-person service will begin on Jan. 5 at 8 a.m. EST.

Apply for 2026-2027 Financial Aid

The 2026-2027 FAFSA is now available. We are regularly updating the Key Information webpage with helpful information, guidance to avoid common FAFSA completion errors, answers to frequently asked questions, and more.

Current students returning to U-M in 2026-2027 should only complete the FAFSA. Add U-M Ann Arbor by using our Federal School Code (002325).

Authorizing a Friend Account

You may authorize up to four persons to view your student bill and financial aid information. In Wolverine Access, visit the Student Center and select Parent/Family Authorization. (OFA is unable to speak with unauthorized persons regarding the specifics of your account.) You can also sign up your friends and family to receive the Office of Financial Aid newsletter.
