Service During the Holiday Season

The Office of Financial Aid, Student Financial Services, and the Registrar’s Office remain committed to serving you in convenient, efficient, and safety-conscious ways. Dec. 8, 2023 will be the last date students will receive funds during the fall term and the last date to apply for and receive a University Short Term loan.

Did you know you can conduct most of your business online and on-demand? We encourage you to consider these online alternatives to conducting student business in person. Visit our Online Business webpage for more information on the available services. The Office of Financial Aid will be closed for business starting on Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. and will reopen on Jan. 2 at 8 a.m.

2024-2025 FAFSA Changes

As a result of the FAFSA Simplification Act, Federal Student Aid is updating the FAFSA process to expand access to federal student aid and provide an easier, streamlined FAFSA experience for students and families. The FAFSA will be available by Dec. 31 due to these changes. We will continue to keep you informed as new information is available, and you can learn more on our FAFSA changes page.

Authorizing a Friend Account

You may authorize up to four persons to view your student bill and financial aid information. In Wolverine Access, visit the Student Center and select Parent/Family Authorization. You can also sign up your friends and family to receive this Office of Financial Aid newsletter.
